Data center services providers should have a large storage space which can store major computer and communications equipments. The main purpose of data center is to handling necessary data for operations. All large tech towns have large data centers in secure locations. The Colocation centers and Internet main points are jotted in these facilities. Because of the importance of data center services, the providers are having high level of protection, therefore high standards are maintained.
Previously, large square meters were built in the hope of blocking them with huge servers; however this was never utilized.
There are some specifications of environment to be kept in the presence of data-centers:
A) An air-conditioned room with the maintained temperature between 20-22 degrees, which keep the heat completely under control and extreme temperatures are being avoided.
B) Necessary back-up power to avoid uninterrupted power supplies.
C) Raised flooring which allow air to circulate below the floor frequently and at the same time to provide space power cables.
D) Fire prevention systems for fire preventions.
E) High security level should be maintained by using video camera and permanent security guards.
